When you look down the chutes on the right hand sides, is this level 3 below? Or it is some false floor in the middle? I could see an awful lot of wood down there.
There are possibly some sub levels, there is one where you previously mention a zig zag in the level with an understope on the right. Its actually a heave or throw on the lode in the region of a cross fault, interesting bit of geology. I dropped down there and found some trucks that must have originally been on false floor that has collapsed and dropped them down.
For information, Level 3 is 140 feet below or thereabouts.
I have a lot going on in mid Wales at the moment but really look forward to going to western Cwffty and hopefully bringing some good up to date pictures back.
This trip is a mining classic that I really enjoy. I may be up at Nenthead later this month and now the route is clear can do my special 'fish trip'.
