Posted this some time back - not an abandonment plan I'm afraid, but sort of close too it. Apologies for the quality. It shows "Diffwys Newydd" i.e. the upper quarry, Hen Diffwys is completely mangled both above and below ground - and well above the water table!

Other people may be better able to comment on it than I can.

The only pointer I can give you is that the inline on the left as you go in on Floor 5 is where we saw the frog. I think! So Opening No 2 is where the half submerged boat is?
