I'm in the White Rose.
They have club meets every couple of weeks.
Next meet is Broken Finger Pot I believe.
There is a couple of active digging groups too, if that's your cup of tea.
A couple of us visit Nenthead fairly regularly also.
Check them out!

This is actually a mining website but anyway, Shropshire Caving and Mining Club do a lot in central Wales and also trips in north Wales, as a member I can thoroughly recommend them.

http://www.shropshirecmc.org.uk/

Regardless of the name most exploration is actually mines.

They don't do 'politics' either by the way

ok thanks for that I shall check them out , I'm also interested in any mining clubs , I'm not a cavist or a minist :surrender:
I like both , just as happy in muddy NW mines
as Yorkshire pots 🙂

Derbyshire Caving Club is probably closer to you than Shropshire, I suppose it depends just how N.W. you are----.

Check out the clubs here;

I read NW as north Wales!
The thing about acronyms is that we are loosing the ability to understand each other. I read the news and cant figure out that they are talking about.

Only downside to these UCET lads is they tend to blow their own trumpets quite a lot

My favourite is COCOA - Council for the Abolition of Contrived and Outrageous Acronyms. ::)

On the acronyms, some of our managers, having returned from a course were keen to implement a J.I.T. (just in time) supply chain. It's success can be judged by it quickly being known as JTFL -(Just Too F***ing Late. The other one I liked was BATNEEC -Best Available Technology Not Entailing Excessive Cost - often implemented as CATNIP -Cheapest Available Technology Not Incurring Prosecution.

I've one I use a lot , its ffff funny fu¢#in forum fu¢#ers
, its for people who correct spellings e,c,t instead of helping out , they wanted to be teachers but never cut the mustard :smartass:

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
