Their claim to be the only four person zip line in Europe seems a little dodgy. There was already a quad one in Switzerland when I was there 2 years ago ?

This new line is also slower that their other one one around the corner at Penryn. They claimed we did 100 mph on that one.

Yeah, it is slower than Bethesda, but your much closer to the ground, so it feels faster. Everyone who have been on both have loved it because the 3 wires are so different to each other.

Looks like things are moving forward since I lived and worked near there 12 years ago now:(

Sounds like a growth in organised outdoor activities centred around Blaenau. Wonder what the implications of that are long term for Cwmorthin and Rhosydd/Croesor etc ?

They also showed a trampoline system in the caverns at Llechwedd (I think). It is not open to the public yet but helen Skelton was allowed to try it out. I can't find anything about it online yet.

A trampoline? Now that's an idea for getting into one of those tunnels in Cwmorthin which is out of reach half way up a wall

They seemed to have several layers of nets across the width of the cavern (and obviously ones at the side to stop you trying to bounce off the walls!) and there was some sort of net tunnel to go down to another level.

The name appears to be 'Bounce Below' from a couple of Tweets I found.

Does not show well but picture here

Opens in July according to a Tweet from Helen Skelton
