Anyway I walked out ok, at half speed, got back to the car around 2215.
I thought later that I should have left you my camera to record the "treasures" that you (surely...) found down there? :thumbup:

I think it definitely needs a return trip with a camera at some point and I'm sure those that missed it will enjoy a mooch around what we found. When we dropped that chamber what we found was fairly extensive. There was a crawl through that led to quite a few chambers several of which were quite stopey. There were a few artifacts and I ended up wading a nearly waist deep adit to confirm that it was that lowest gated one that we found with the bendy rails supporting the roof. Really weird layout in that bottom section.

Return trip yes count me in....after all I only saw half of it last night!
I'm 99% certain that I'm NOT free next week 😠 but in the next few weeks while the evenings are still light then yes :thumbup:

Any votes for next week's trip? Let me know an I will post it up.
A few folks wanted to do an "abseil through-trip involving landing in an ore-hopper, negotiating a flooded false floor over a shaft, climbing a rising main, checking out some ladders, a chamber full of dead sheep and finishing with a critical-depth wade out".
I put it to the vote......
