Running late agaaaaain this week, sorry! :flowers:

Just to confirm that this week's trip is a return to Moelwyn Slate Mine, to have a further poke around.... 😉 SRT kit required this week! :devil:

Meet at 1800 at the lay-by on the road up to Stwlan Dam, here:

and bring your walking boots! Actually the walk up is not as bad as most people think....under an hour last time!

As Llion needs to be home early-ish to prepare for his holiday, we won't be wasting any time.....think Special Forces forced march....that is the pace that we will be going at. I shall of course lead from the front....unless I'm running late, in which case start on up without me and I will overtake you all somewhere on the hill :smartass:

OK. Update on weather in Blaenau.

It brightened up this afternoon and just as I was thinking of posting to say so (about quarter to 4) it went over really black and poured again. It has eased off again now and is alternating between drizzle and light rain but is still pretty grey (well it is Blaenau :lol: ). So who knows what will happen later.
