Yeah, no problem. You will need a wide lens though... I'll probably be using a 16-18mm effective focal length (10-12mm on most DSLR's). I expect exposures to be long (ISO 100), around 20-30 seconds. I'll probably need 5 or so different exposures.

EDIT:-

I'll also be shooting Footage when in there, if I can make a steadycam by then.

Ah I dont have wide angle lenses but will have to do! Which part of the mine did you want to photograph? sorry for all questions 😛

As for which part, I don't know, I've not managed to get there yet (There are too many other mines to see so far when I get down to Blaenau), and I'll have to let people who know the mine guide me. Anything big. Really big. Everyone says the chambers are immense, so I'm hoping that there isn't too much exaggeration.

Depending on what time i can be arsed dragging my self out of my pit tomorrow and head over to Wales i may bob in there for a few hours of play 🙂

Edd - I'm not sure I can get enough people, flashes and torches together, and organised. It would be ideal, and if I can, great. I'm going to play pessimist, and plan for the usual hiccups to get in the way though.

Flares is ok but you only get one chance before you're smoked out, doesn't matter how big the chamber is, been there, done that.
