If you are not a railway modeller, don't be discouraged by the title as revievers have estimated that about 3/4 of it is a about the railway and not about modelling it.

Produced by the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers, this book contains much historical information on the line, buildings, locomotives, rolling stock, details of operation etc.

Containing more archive photographs than any other known book on the railway, most not previously published, it is an essential for anyone interested in Welsh narrow gauge and slate railways. The model-making aspect is covered by sections on both kit and scratch-building.

72 pages with more than 130 photographs by over 30 photographers, both famous and previously unknown. 3D maps of interesting parts of the line. Written by skilled model-maker Rob Bennett, railway historian Andrew Neale and PQRS photographic archivist Robin Willis, with historical photographs from the extensive Penrhyn Quarry Railway Society’s collection.
