A return trip to Glynrhonwy this week to finish off the bits that we wanted to see but didn't get to last week (and got rained off from the week before..... :angel: )

Meet up on Ffordd Clegir, just past the Siemens factory at the usual time of "around 1800 hrs on the dot....approximately....ish". 😉

Will post up a map link when I can get it to work... :curse:

Usual suspects will be in attendance, including Llion I hope (get well soon!) but all are welcome as usual!

We will drop into the "Keep" pit which is a 50' abseil, (although I'm fairly sure that there is an alternative "scramble" access for anyone not into SRT) and then onwards and upwards into the rest of Glynrhonwy Uchaf as time allows. Other than the first pit, it is mainly surface exploration, with the odd tunnel and adit to pop into, but there is a vast amount to see so there should be something for everyone :thumbup: and don't worry.....we'll plan something properly underground for the following week :lol:

Simon, Owain, Sinker and I turned up, walked for 5 minutes, set up a rope. Dropped Simon over the loose (slate) edge. Moved the rope and the rest went down. An impressive pit, v little u/g but v pretty slate. No tunnels out and no easy scrambles out either.

A good curry and a lonely 1/2 of Cobra finished the night.

Simon will post any pictures he is happy with 😉
