I'm not sure if the site's owners specifically forbid (can't see anything on the web site), but it's easy to paste the script block into a local html page, then change the w and h parameters to whatever size your screen is if you want a larger view.

According to Marc, it "should" work with all decent browsers that have the GE plugin installed properly.
You need to be patient with it loading.
Sometimes a refresh may help.
If all fails, try a different browser by all means.
He's just tried on firefox and it worked fine.
Hoping this helps.

You'll have to install the Google Earth plugin / extension.

We're aware that there may be ways to manipulate the content but we'd prefer them to go through the website/s provided for now.
We're working on improvements based on feedback.
People may like to use the code on their own website/s, but we'd prefer to be able to maintain the source files so that users always see the best and most recent version

It's all work-in-progress at the moment. Hopefully we'll get it right soon.

Hi All,

Sorry for joining this discussion so late - I needed to register and couldn't find the link...

It wasn't the original intention to make this available to run through the full GE application, though I can appreciate now that it does work much better, and the demand and feedback here has convinced me otherwise :-)

The problem for me is that I've got a good deal of future additions that I'd like to add to the project, so didn't want it to be run offline. Getting time to add the extra stuff is a problem for me though

As a compromise, I'm willing to provide a network linked KMZ file that can be run straight out of the Google Earth application. The file is tiny and all the data stays in a single place on the server where I can update it.

Hope that satisfies everyone.. :)

I've not got the KMZ file available for download anywhere yet, but if you email me I'll send it to you: marccarney7ATgooglemailDOTcom

Regards

marc

Sounds good. I'll send an email over later on. The address is real, you'll see what I mean when it arrives.

Many thanks.
