Did a recce into Nth Wales the other day and found that having taken out the old sluice as not necessary they are now having to build another one (according to the guy on site I met)

Interesting, looks like a fair bit going on there. I remember the old gate hanging off to one side for a good few years.

Who was it that thought the old sluice was not neccassary? Am I right in thinking this is the overflow outlet? :blink:
