Showed a couple of friends round Cwmorthin yesterday, was rather suprised by the amount of water coming out of the adit:

Apologies for the rather poor quality - the camera had got cold underground, then when exposed to the warm and damp atmosphere of the adit, it suffered from fogging.
Most of the flow was coming down through the tips above, with a couple of waterfalls in the further reaches of the timmbered section.
The remainder of the adit had a fair water flow; and there was quite a lot of water draining along the Old Vein / New Vein tunnel. Whether this was draining in via the pit workings above or via the OV workings themselves may require a bit more thought.
