A roundup of unusual things seen in Welsh slate mines last weekend!
Snow...This was a good 100 yards underground in the A floor adit at Croesor at the beginning of the Croesor Rhosydd through trip with some people from NWCC and Dudley Cavng Club.
I saw this at a distance and though there'd been a collapse.
Never seen it snow underground before :lol:

Actually it had all fallen in from a shaft that connects with the adit. And as we were stood looking at it some great big lumps of solid ice came crashing down 😮
