Fantastic photos - and very atmospheric too! Great to compare with ones taken more recently. I can almost smell the damp slate and the greenery - takes me back..... (sighs)..

Many thanks for sharing those photos with us Spitfire - very evocative. Thankfully, even after all this time, a lot of what you recorded is still there to see - must go back there soon.
