Why is this caban caled "Queen Mary"? Does it date from quarry usage days, or is it a mine explorers term?

iirc the name is chalked above the door in yellow. But that doesn't explain much 😉

Doesn't the name derive from one of the newspaper articles that appeared in one of the papers strewn inside? Something to do with the maiden voyage?
