Yer... Look on ME and there are a lot of my dad's like that, when using internal flash. Was this using internal flash?

Yes, internal flash. An Epson Photo PC 650Z, IIRC. First camera I ever used underground, but it was back in 1999.

Haha..
The 1st camera I ever used for photographing mines was a 1980s minox. The 1st I used underground was a 1960s Nikon of my dad's. I also used my dad's 1980s Nikon. Now I tend to use a finepix which is good dispite only having 6 pegapixels, and my dad uses it sometimes as well. I'm contemplating on seeing what a Nikon Coolpix P5000 is like though...

At the risk of banging on about the same camera over and over... keep checking eBay and get a Nikon 8400, nothing comes close for underground photos 🙂

Wow! That's quite an exposure for a smallish digital camera. To think.. most compact ones only have a couple of seconds at the most...

My finepix 5500 goes up to 15 seconds on open shutter.

Not been used in anger u/g tho'

perhaps soon it will tho.
