Hi All

Is there anyone else out there interested in this mine or does anyone have any information on the mine.

I believe my ancestors may have wirked there and I would like to get as mush information as possible.

No, I was there in 2004 but it was too wet to venture into the house and ask.

I have some pics I took from the road, how do I load them?

Image uploading is quite straightforward, if you go to the Dinas Ddu user album which you'll find here:

http://www.aditnow.co.uk/album/Dinas-Ddu-Slate-Mine-User-Album/

And look for the bit that says:

"Do you have any photographs you could like to upload to this album? Click here to upload them to this album and share them with other site users."

Click the 'here' bit and you'll go through to the image upload process - it's just like the document upload in that you select a file, give it a name and then an optional description.

Any problems give me a shout here or via PM.

Hi Alan, The best I can do is say I live in the once site office now bungalow, I have been searching for imformation on this mine for a long time. I know it went bankrupt aound 1898 and into liquidation. That is all I know, What makes you think a relative of yours worked here? kind regards, Diane
