Hi guys just wondering how long the pitch in cligga is from the top level down to middle level, since all this covid stuff is dying down I think it's time to go back underground... Just want to make sure my rope is long enough lol...
Cheers in advance ??

Approximately 30 metres ish, plus rigging?? It's been a long time since I did all the drops in Cligga (1995), but we had a 100 metre rope, as we also dropped Contact Shaft from Top Level to Bottom Level, and all of the ladderways, and the Orepass to Middle Level. (I wouldn't want to do it now).
I hope this helps. ;)

A 50m should get you to the bottom from the beginning of the traverse. The first connection point is the thread that the rope can be tied into. Think there are about 3 bolts then the pitch head pair. When are you thinking of going ?

I did the trip the other day, a 50m rope will do it, just.... Was a little further than i thought. After rigging there was about 5m of rope still in the bag at the bottom.
