Does anyone know if there are any accessible entrances?

There seem to be at least two adits on a Google image search, one 'sea cave' appears to have hanging and foot walls.

If anyone goes for a poke plz pose up pics!

Living in the motherland of west cornwall I rarely get the chance to invade that far into the blustery north. PCG said they once found a cave in this vicinity, it's probably the mine adit.

Of course application should be made to the mineral lord before exploring any disused mine 😉 At the time of operation, this would've been the Senior line of the Bassets, but whom now I would love to be told.

Yes will do.

There is a 250m long natural cave - Napps cave an SSSI that is gated with no access being allowed.

Perhaps the current Mineral Rights Owner can be traced from this land sale, mineral rights go with the woodland but water rights do not.

"The mineral rights are included except where reserved by statute."

Thanks again I am thinking no accessible entrances now to GWM, some good historical info on the cave that was found during quarrying.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
