According to Today’s Times, the Canadian owner of this mine are looking to get British Investors to buy shares in this company.
So all you South West types, now is the opportunity, to change all your savings into something that will help the South West!

A new zoo, or getting Channel 4 to relocate to Cornwall ? Investors buy if the investment looks like it will give good returns.

Do the other two prefer Lesley Judd ?

Interesting that the first £25 million will be used to determine if it's even feasible to commence production. The Strongbow chief exec says the prospect offers 'great potential at a relatively low risk'. Relative to what....putting all your money in a big pile and setting fire to it !

There was a short piece on Radio 4 this morning and the speaker was briefly explaining it would take 18 months to de-water the 8 million(?) cubic metres of water and process it through an, as yet, un-built treatment plant. Although he did suggest the current market price (about £20,000 per tonne) looked likely to hold for some years, their current plan would aim to produce for a minimum of 8 years.

Just as a comment he said that there were over 1000 old mine shafts in the Poole/Cambourne area.

Think you've hit the nail on the head there mate... was only talking to a friend and he was of the same opinion yesterday as he deals in the buying and selling of shares.

May well have a punt myself and pull just before the proverbial hits the fan...

Hope all's well with you...

Seems that this story won;t go away. According to Sky News it's lithium in the groundwater to be extracted too.
