Looks like a hole has opened up at chiverton cross....

As you come off chiverton cross roundabout heading westbound, a. Little way down the a30 on the right hand side in a field is a spoil tip and what looks to be some newly erected harris fencing in a ring, could be a possible shaft opened up....

I'm sure someone down that end will be able to go have a look!

Yes I have noticed the spoil heap many times off the A30.
Any details of the mine anyone?

Looks like North Wheal Busy engine shaft IIRC. The adit is blocked there and water is about 8ft down the shaft. There are several collapse features in fields around there, all of them will be water-up. Boscawen to the SW has some open holes (big scary ones)

This is a new feature by the looks of it. Noted the dump for a long time while driving down there, and noticed today the harris fencing appeared to the east of the dump.

And on a side note, got rope, got van, got srt kit, will travel....

Can't be that scary....

I make a point out of being on the scene of anything that opens up and getting down it, if it goes.

That's been open a few years.
