If I get time tomorrow I will upload some of my images of the demolition.
If it can't be grown it has to be mined.

Nice one. still think thats the lazy approach to demo, some bang would have been a better show!
Any idea how long those two bins actually stood there approximately?

Yeah, we could have blown them up, not sure of the state of
Local houses would have been ! Most of us left on site would have liked to,have see them go in true Fred D fashion but there you go. However it is the safest method of demolition, but it does take a while if you dont have really big expensive kit which has a long reach.

I think they went up in approx 1970ish when the new mill was constructed - I expect there will be some one on here with an exact date đŸ˜®

What work is actually in progress on site?

I think there was a paper published by the Cornish Institute of Engineers about their construction, will have a look and see if I can find it.

They are building a link road which allows a developer to build a big estate.

Some money may have changed hands in the process.

Carillion continue to move large amounts of material from one part of the site to the other. DRS (thats Demolition Really Slowly) continue to clear the remains of the mill. Nothing much else to report.

Oh yes, almost forgot some more idiots have tried to break in again ... Unlike others they were clever enough not to leave their autographs underground, but not clever enough to get underground.

Otherwise nothing else to report.

Soz to be a pain.....

Could you upload these images to the archive folder for crofty?...... (I may be missing them but I could not see them in there and its a worthwhile recording in the folder than just the forum.)

Thanks

The newbie Rich.
