This was taken in 2006. In the larger version you can see Lyle's Shaft in the bottom left hand corner and the Basset Stamps centre left. From these you can follow the track(not literally) of the tramway going towards the right of the photo.
In the Wheal Basset days the shafts would have followed a line just below this line and before that some of the shafts of the old Carnkie Bal. That's if my orientation is correct. 🙂
