During May have paid two visits to the Snailbeach Lead Mine in Shropshire and extensively photographed the site which I first paid a flying visit to in December 2016. Here is a link to a large gallery of images. From the gallery you will also find a link to a gallery recording the remains of the Snailbeach District Railways also photographed this month.

Nice photos, you will have to come back when we can open the buildings for you to photograph inside of the blacksmith shop, locomotive shed, the miners dry .

At the moment the Trust is staying away until government gives the green light to allow visitors on the site
