Windows has Windows Photo Viewer but silly Microsoft has not put a shortcut to it in the menu, at least not in Win 7 which I use.
So a lot of people are using software which comes with cameras which displays photos taken upright in portrait just like that. But when uploaded to a website such as aditnow they appear on their side.
Photo Viewer will allow you to view right and print photos as well as zoom in.
So
Find a jpeg image, any old one will do
Highlight it, and then right mouse button.
Select "Open with"
Select "Photo Viewer", and if you wish tick the box to make it the default program.
Click "OK"
I dont know whether its still in Win 10 though, or whether its been renamed something different, another silly MS trick.
Once selected as the default program pics will open under it automatically by just double clicking them. You can open your picture folders in Windows Explorer and work this way. I find it easier than navigating to files from a program.
Photo viewer has an easy print dialog built in as well. But beware the default "Fit to frame" checkbox as it crops pics down, its best cleared. More daftness from Microsoft.
