Can anyone point me in the right direction to a map of the speedwell system, ideally showing it's connections with Peak Cavern and Titan?

The reason I'm asking is that as far as I'm aware tourist mines need two exits for H&S reasons, on my visit as a child (must be over 10 years ago now 😞 ) I only remember a single incline to the boating level.

Any random info would be appreciated... 😉

There's a whole load of info here - http://www.peakdistrictcaving.info/peak_district_cave_information.htm  and also here http://www.peakspeedwell.info/ , plus published plans in Trevor Ford's Caves of Castleton book.

I can't remember whether the engine shaft at the outbye end of the Speedwell canal is sealed at surface or not, as I can imagine trying to take a party of tourists out of Peak Cavern by way of Colostomy Crawl and Mucky Ducks would result in lawsuits, not to mention ruined suits. We won't even contemplate trying to extract trapped grockles through Titan or JH....
Follow the horses, Johnny my laddie, follow the horses canny lad-oh!

Have various bits & pieces at home I can send you tonight Rich, no idea how many 'normal' entrances there are to Peak Cavern though.

Are you after a trip that way? Me, Blackshiver & Jcam did JH last year but I was full of cold and was too busy shivering & wiping my nose to appreciate it so eager to return.

Will get something sorted then.
Depending on numbers and abilities it could be an option for the Derbyshire weekend though you probably wouldn't want more than a handful of people.
