The good Mr Cameron has officially announced that 29th April 2011 is to be a public bank holiday.

Whilst it is undoubtedly an excellent opportunity to stock up on souvenir copies of Hello magazine and bottles of M&S Bucks Fizz may I formally suggest that anyone with a shred of dignity runs desperately for cover and considers the merits of holding the previously discussed AN weekend deep underground in Derbyshire then?

I wish, I can guarantee I'll be working. Still, double pay, and a day off in Lieu... buys more shiny things to clip onto ropes and make not-so-shiny any more.
