Is a full size copy of the survey available? I.e the Roger Flindall survey at the end of the PDMHS document uploaded by Roy. It looks like the survey has been reduced from a larger size. Even better a modern survey showing the extent of the quarried away bits.

If one buys the bulletin from the mining museum does it come with the big survey?

The original survey as published in bulletin 8.2 is a bit smaller than three A4s, it was a double-fold out. There are no newer surveys I'm aware of, my underground copy is a slightly enlarged copy of the right-hand side on A3 with pencil scribbles roughly marking the current extent of the Masson workings. I don't think they've got any copies left at the museum but I could be wrong, a load of old issues turned up recently which has been enabling me to push my collection back. Give them a ring and ask, if not PM me and I'll run you off a copy of the map.

we got them to copy a survey for us from the archive copy for about 10p might be able to do it by phone and post but we got it when we called in one day
