Does anyone know if you can still get into Wapping mine via Cumberland cavern?

Gated now, someone from PDMHS will know more, they may have a key at the pavillion.
I am in PDMHS but dont get round there much these days.
Wapping Mine is now in someones garden I believe.
My avatar is a poor likeness.

This has been covered on ukcaving's forum and the DCA cave guides in a bit more depth.

There's no access to Cumberland via PDMHS as far as I know - they just have the keys to Owlet and Youd's at the museum. Direct access to Wapping was withdrawn by the landowner following general vandalism in the area, unfortunately this seems to have been done by local idiots :guns: rather than cavers and mine explorers but the owner was sufficiently upset to stop access to everyone....

Thanks All, I tried the links, but no clear answer that I can find. Still don't know if Cumberland Cavern is open, however did get a number of someone who should hopefully know from the mining museum at Matlock Bath.
