There hasnt been access allowed to wapping mine for over a year and a half now.
It is on private land so please keep away or it could stop future trips for good!

Access to Wapping Mine has always been via Cumberland Cavern and as far as I know that situation remains unchanged...i've certainly had no access updates to that effect.
There are no known access restrictions to Cumberland Cavern

The cumberland cavern entrance has had a steel door on it for years and the only access is via the wapping entrance which like i said is on private land and the landowner who lives next to the a6 which garden you would have to trespass on to to gain access to the mine has stopped access due not possibly to cavers but other people.

Apologies...i'm only passing on what i've been told...because of the nature of the system its not somewhere i'd personally bother to visit.
However, there has been no mention of change in access status in any publications or DCA updates...so i assumed that access was still un-restricted...
It might be worth notifying the DCA if the access status has changed recently
