I would like to take more credit for the digging, but I only put in a handful of days on the efforts so far - took the easy option of documenting it all.

The real work has been done by:

AN Members: Skippy, PeteHall, Ian S, Patch
Non AN: Les Jackson, Ross Whittaker, Neil Rogers and a fair few others on and off.

All offers of help I am sure would not be refused! PeteHall at the moment might be the best to contact.

Well done guys! It's very impressive, this level of commitment, and the film kind of gives a taste of what conditions were like back in the days of old. Proper job!
If the phone didn''t ring, it was probably me.

Simon, the camera was the one I had yesterday, Cannon iXUS 960, it gives good video as I have discovered, though the res has been reduced for YT from 1024x768. When I was looking at compacts, this one had one of the biggest CCD sensors, its even bigger than its replacement the 970 has.
