Cracking pics Kate, especially the middle one.
What are the roads like in the Lakes at the moment in the increasingly unlikely event the A66 is open at the weekend?

Cheers Rich. Thats my favourite too.
All minor roads are awful so you will only get to the 'hubs' so to speak...Nothing but the main roads have been treated! As usual and nothing is thawing at all...

Have all but ruled out a mining trip this weekend so might dig out the winter boots and have a stomp up Skiddaw or somewhere similarly roadside if I can get there but a wander up to one of the local hills with a big plastic bag is looking the best bet...

Road signs make good sledges, but make sure you fold the edges up.

Just saying, like... wouldn't want to encourage any wrongdoing 😉

Against all the odds we didn't get to experience Simon's Landrover being used as a sledge as he drove us down a snow covered mountain on Friday.

Very nice set, I too like all the various colours, it really shows that the underground is not all dark & grey!
The management thanks you for your co operation.

Yes sorry, I was just being (not even vaguely) funny.
The top one is in the middle, the middle one is at the bottom and the bottom one is at the top. I think.
