Now then Ive checked the rules and i can change a pic ..and to be honest i really didn't like the North Henblas pic and thought i would change it..

Ive been out today in a popular North Wales Slate mine and took with me a new explorer ..keeping with the theme and having discovered flash photography ..i got really excited about this pic. it took me an hour to set up and try and try and try until it came out nearly right just a little more improvement maybe.

the reason you ask! well Ive practised for weeks to get it just right and i think i have it ..this pic is as it was taken ..no photo shop enhancing nonsense just 3 flashes and a 30sec exposure .the title! "The Young Explorer" criticism great-fully received .

This Second picture is of Treacle in Fish Mine Prestatyn just about to go into a winz and climb up an electron ladder out of site (the light) is the others making there way towards him.

My goodself in Cwmorthin left at the bottom of the incline first chamber on the left where the crane is ..balls deep water on the way in but always wanted to see it.

the two lights below are two others on the last two pitches of the shaft to the 330 level ..theres another 200ft after that to the very bottom as you well know heheh :thumbsup:

Was an ace trip and the abseils are fun and i may even go back up the ropes this time. got to be less painful than the winch again lol

looking at maybe march or april for another trip ..i always sh!t myself when i look down it especially if you look at vanoords pic of the very bottom with another 200 ft to go 😮
