The worrying thing is that even after their Landies have been vandalised they look better than mine!

Sadly until the removal of assorted body parts this sort of crime (Along with many more IS a sad symptom of modern society)

Thankfully for the general law abiding and decent public, Conway Landrover have very kindly stepped in and provided some replacement Landrovers .

Out of adversity etc etc etc

I just can not think what is giong through the brain cell of the person who did this. It seems (to me) to be a deliberate action.
But why is beyond my understanding. 😠

I dont think the doors accidentally fell off fella.... I would have thought anyone attacking a door with a grinder would have made a conscious decision to do so.....

My repulsion of this act cannot be -------
Suffice it to say, something wrong with this society indicates that the perpetrators are unlikely to be detected and, if they were, we would not be allowed to stick them up on the summit in their underwear in midwinter. (Or maybe gibbet them on a nice observable crag -- Cloggy?)
Always remember, nature is in charge, get it wrong and it is you who suffers!.

Invite them for a pint in the Vaynol on a busy night and let natural justice take its course.

They don't always get away with it, this one has had his collar gripped. The level of revulsion is so high I am quite certain that if there is any information 'out there' someone will come forward.

These sort of thefts boggle the mind, but there must have been some sort of bird-brained logic behind this. It looks as if the thieves were after free Land Rover doors and tried to help themselves. I would suspect that they are rebuilding a (stolen?) Land Rover somewhere so keep a look out for bits from other LRs going awol. Many years ago I had a Triumph TR6 which nicked from a cinema car park. It turned up 2 weeks later minus the bonnet and, strangely enough, the upholstery, seats and carpets!

Doors on Landys are notoriously crap - doors in good nick will always find a ready sale.

Even I am surprised that someone would 'have a go at attacking a couple of Landies ' in such a well known area.
I understood that often these thefts involve the whole vehicle which is winched into the back of a large covered trailer and taken away, and either broken for spares or reconfigured, painted and exported.
In any case it certainly sets 'a new low'.
Presumably this must have taken place at night and not in a secure area?

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
