Hi Peter,

My dad was Brian Winstanley and he was Electrical Engineer at Woolley. I wonder if you are thinking of him rather than Eric. I recognise some of the names on the on that list, particularly Barry Wofinden.

In fact a few of the names you mention may well be on this photo.

My dad is presenting a retirement gift I believe. He is on the right and I believe it is Mr Tovey receiving the gift.

Cheers
Paul

David Tovey is receiving the retirement gift from Brian Winstanley. Far right, Fred Lofts, (Lofty), next to him is Eric Latchem. Eric was Electrical Foreman during the time I was at Woolley. A couple of other faces are familiar but I can't put names. I worked regular nightshift in the electric shop from about 1967 until I left in 1970 so wasn't that familiar with some of the guys.

I am now 69 and looking back on those years, it seems as if it was another world. So many stories.
