Thank you for your comment the time and effort that goes into producing images like this underwater is immense, one wrong fin kick and the silt gets kicked up and that's it for about a week .

Great photo! One question, do you use an internal flash or tripod for stability? I guess a tripod but it's hard to tell for me 😛

Ha a tripod would be nice but you have to remember with this type of diving anything touching the floor and you will instantly stir up the silt and that it for the dive as for strobes (flash guns) there is 4 being used on this shot .
Although its hard to believe these shots are in total black i am shooting with a torch beam... must say though when we do get it right it is VERY rewarding also dont forget the dive skills of my model also have to be 100% its a combination thing.

It must be very rewarding, I suppose long exposures are pretty much impossible with someone else in the picture, all the water movement and your partner moving.
Closest I got was leaning my camera just into the top of a flooded shaft on a tripod, the first pic worked quite well but then the waterproof case decided to not be waterproof and the camera died 😛

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
