You know what. I may have answered my own question looking at an earlier post saying polyhalite is 100m below potash, so that may have knackered it.

I think the official line is that the new more profitable Polyhalite working are still small, so presumably you can't get as many miners in theres as the vast (but now less profitable) Potash workings.
