Excellent photos, but also great to see what equipment he used. The use of that small LED light is really effective.

Agreed a nice set of photos, very clear images considering the very ISO settings he had to use down there.

Newer sensors are becoming really incredible, there is also some amazing noise reduction software out there now.

Cracking set of photos for such little equipment.

I've just shown the pictures to a friend who told me that was nothing and that the new Sony A7 goes to ISO 409600. Yep, that's not a mistype. There's an interesting demonstration here:

It's a tiny camera as well.

What happened to the rules about 'intrinsically safe' camera equipment being used in this mine then?

Last time I looked an X Pro 1 was just a nice Compact :confused:
