Having just shredded yet another pair of Beaver kneepads I think I need something better.
I have heard good words about the Warmbac ones but they do look rather shiny which makes me a bit concerned about climbing on muddy slopes.
The Wambac ones with Kevlar for extra bullet proofness seem a good idea and they are cheaper but I am unsure
I had thought to try attaching bits of old mountainbike tyre to the Beaver ones mainly for improved wear but I'm sure the tread will help and hinder in equal measure.
I have tried the industrial hard ones and I hated them - like ice skates on the knees!
Watching the news the other night about the army leaving Afganistan and I wondered if the army kneepads are any good.
Any ideas?
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...
