There are some tat ropes hanging in the wheal East shaft area ,near the portal. The ropes are old and the bolts fitted by the deranged so not worth the risk.......

I dont supose that you want to describe the acrobatics of getting down to the adit, its one I never did.
Years ago I talked to a guy named Tony J who took regular trips down there, but I never quite mastered it, I suspect a serious head for heights is part of the equation.

another 40m of tunnel about 15m above the adit ..ends in a collapse/run .. nice wooden stepped ladder.
