Ok folks, I've been away for a few days and I'm just catching up on the thread.
It seems that there's a distinct possibility that the enginehouse in the photo is North (Wheal) Jane.
As was pointed out to me, the window openings are wrong for Nangiles, and one of the wing walls is missing, sheared off to bob platt level.
I'm sure that this picture has been published as Nangiles, but as yet I can't seem to find which book I saw it in.
If this is indeed North Jane, then this picture is probably the only image of that mine in existence.
Any other info from anyone out there will be much appreciated and maybe we can nail the identity down without any doubt.
I feel pretty sure it is Nth Jane. The terrain certainly fits and I would guess that this picture is looking West with the railway on the right of the enginehouse.
