Stolen from landrover Discovery in the Midlands last weekend - 3 Oldham T6 sets with Mr Mikes LED conversions - one with the new one. Two lamps have distinctive red webbing belts with them, one has a yellow Petzl helmet, another a white helmet, and the other is minus hat, but with a black leather belt on it.

Also a map roll with A0 mine plans and sections (Greenlaws) - unlikely to try to sell this, but you never know..

If anyone sees or hears of any on ebay or any other sites, could they please let me or Mr Mike know - it may lead to much bigger crime discovery - vehicle was taken as part of an organised ring of landrover thieving.

Thanks all

Pete

Really sorry to hear about your dog going too. Disco can be replaced - your dog can't. I hope you here some good news on that very soon.

Gutted to hear that ....

Having your vehicle stolen is bad enough ...BUT losing your dog,I honestly wouldn't be responsible for my actions against someone for doing that .

Don't know if there is any connection (or that it is any help) but there is a link on Facebook at the moment about someone having their landrover stolen from Bridgnorth containing their hearing collie ....

They are scum and no mistake,
Fingers crossed for you both mate and hope all comes good

I hope they catch these f****ng scum, they are scourge on society.

I've heard a lot of stories of that sort - did you lock it? I NEVER walk away from my vehicle unlocked, but a surprising number of people do, even leave the keys in.

good luck with the dog

Maybe it is the dogs they really want? After all who the hell wants a Land Rover?

Seriously, my friend had his LR stolen from his back garden in Derbyshire. It vanished without trace and has never been seen again. The thieves used it the same night to try and pinch yet another nearby but were disturbed and fled. The police said they are taken and exported, the Land Rovers, not the dogs.

One thing about the Mazda I used to drive, I knew that I could leave that anywhere and it would still be there when I got back.

I left it in Aber while I went for a walk round the castle and looking from the ramparts saw a crowd gathered, they were pointing at it and shaking their heads.
It actually had moss growing round the windows.
It was very authentic.

Course Roy there was a time when Skoda's were likened to herpes once you had it you could never get rid!!

Losing the dog would break my heart and I do hope you find the b-stds.

The locks on a Land rover are pretty u/s and it is probably one of the few vehicles on the road nowadays that the average kid could break into and drive away

Modern Landrovers have excellent security, I have one myself. The key fob slots in and disables the immobiliser. You would have trouble towing one off if its locked with the handbrake on too.

Yep have one of those myself but the bog standard defender didn't use that technology until the last couple of years?

I've has people point at my old Land Cruiser and shake their heads while travelling in it....

I had a Daihatsu F50 a few years ago which was a terrible old shed but never once let me down, which is more than I can say for any Landy I've ever owned.

The old Mazda was purchased when 3 years old from British Car Auctions Walsall for £3K with 80K on the clock.
I took it up to about 240,000 miles and never had a major bill.

If the VRS turns out a fraction as good I wont grumble. The one thing I will say is that performance for fuel eco is total. If you look at the performance Fords, Focus ST and RS they are right guzzlers.
I think I have changed my allegiance.

Peter, if you get the dog back we would all like to know.

There's money to be made from stealing Landrovers and breaking them up to feed the parts market.

It's been on the up for the last 3 years.

Good job that the dog has been found.
