Most of you won't be aware of this but some years ago, before I signed up for this site I suffered an accident and 'did a number' on my legs leaving me with limited mobility. Before that I used to venture underground as much as (then) SWBO and kids permitted.
Anyway, the NHS has been at work and this bank holiday I ventured to Snailbeach for the first time in years and ventured underground into the Day Level. Now by the norms of this site that's 'small beer' but it was significant to me and I just want to say a "thank you" to all on this site who have kept me what passes for cheerful while I recovered and a thankyou to the volunteer staff at Snailbeach,( via Moorbooks or Adrian P if they would please) for the patience and understanding of me being bloody minded and insisting on using my legs in spite of their offer to use the carriage.
Anyway.... thanks 🙂

I have been very poorly this year and wondered about my future. You have been imobilised for years, makes me feel, well, I dunno, a bit of girls blowse.

Anyway, bless you and best wishes from RF.

Thanks for the good wishes Roy. I hope you're well recovered and ready to breath life back into Cwmystwyth along with your other projects.
