I hope this is of some interest. Whilst looking around online at some pics of the old Eimco rocker shovel I came across this site. A company who have bought the manufacturing rights of the once American made Eimco. The Trident S.A. Company of south Africa now make the full range of the rocker shovels and battery locos. It is nice to see some old technology still being used.

Interesting stuff, I see they now produce an electro hydraulic rocker shovel, I dare say better to control than the old air powered units that we still see.

The management thanks you for your co operation.

This is where Eimco's usually finish up. But they are still in working order! You can't kill the b*****s. This pic shows the other side - not often seen.

Hi Derrickman

Patience ::)

I have started, but I need to do a bit of work in order to save a bit of work in the long term. There's a lot of small bits that could be cast in larger groups and save construction time, which would reduce the cost ;D

I'll PM you when I know more.
