There is a comment about Dick Bird's picture of the explosives magazine taken in 1969 that the building was demolished (See latest photograph votes).
News to me! I bet it's still there.

The magazine is still there. It was also built in a polygon, emulating the mill.
The Octagon mill itself was demolished many years ago, although some walls were still standing in the 1960's (see D Birds photo)

yes I own up that was me getting mixed up sorry,it was the octogan mill that was demolished many moons ago for the building materials,still a shame though:confused:
