Saw this kicking around on eBay (not that i'm going to pay a tenner for it)

Says its an old level near Booze being repaired.

The level itself could be anywhere, just wondered if the chaps in the picture might be familiar to anyone ?

Hi Chris,
Guy on the right looks like Ivor Brown, but then if this is the case then who is putting in the arching stone?
Ivor and the late Tony Marsh did a lot of the initial exploration in Swaledale/Arkengarthdale in the mid 60's early 70's and the helmets are certainly pre the plastic era, which would fit.
Maybe someone else has other ideas.

hi,yes ive seen it on ebay too,second time its been on because no ones gonna pay a tenner for it! i dont recognise it ive been in and around booze many a time,i ll ask some of the lads on thursday night,owt fresh on the mining scene? :blink:

Its been listed for a third time now.

Seller doesn't seem to realise no-one is going to pay a tenner for a photo that doesn't really show anything much.
