All Our Working Lives: Cutting Coal

"In their heyday, Britain's coal mines powered the nation's industrial rise, and provided jobs for more than one million men. This documentary sets out to highlight the dangerous conditions, insecurity and disputes that led to the nationalisation of the mines after World War Two, and meets former colliers and pit bosses to chart the business' rapid decline".

The program was re-broadcast last night 19th March.
I was hoping to get a copy of it thru i-player, but this is
not the case, does anyone know if the BBC are going
to put this program out on DVD. 😞

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
