Just thought I'd say hi as I joined earlier today. I'll probably have to be a bit of a lurker for a while as I'm somewhat tied up with moving house, moving job, and saying goo-goo-gah-gah to our latest offspring. Having said that, I did manage a trip to Monkton Farleigh at the weekend - life is all about priorities ;D

Actually I've got a couple of questions about Monkton, which only require yes or no answers, (please don't give me more detail as it'll just make me want to go back soon and I really need to pack 😉 )

Is the Quarry area at the top of Farleigh Down Tunnel the 'abandoned area'?
Can any other districts be reached from here, (especially 19/20)?

We didn't wander too far as we didn't have a map, and I'd rather go with someone who knows the area well. Safety first and all that.

Welcome to the site 🙂 There's a good few people on here with excellent knowledge of that area, so as Barney says, hang on in and somebody will reply - I've tweaked the thread title as well so it's more obvious what the question is about

Yes it is

No they can't, it's been taken over by wansdyke security who keep confidential files and such like down there.

Thanks all for your warm welcome. I was aware that Wansdyke Security had a lot of the Quarry, but wasn't sure just how much they had.

It was Darkplaces that led me here 😉
