Is there a more common name for malachite?

Is there a more common name for Edingtonite?

Anhydrite, is this some sort of salt?

What is the Geology term for limestone?

and finally,

Wulfenite, this is spelt differently in the mineral list, so which is correct?

Thanks all! 😢

Erm geological term for limestone is limestone but you often get dolomite with it which is magnesium (calcium) carbonate as opposed to calcium carbonate.

Malachite may sometimes be called green copper
Wulfenite also called Yellow Lead
Anhydrite is a gyspum salt (Calcium sulphate)

I went in a mine once.... it was dark and scary..... full of weirdos

Just to add a little to that.
The term 'bioclastic' is used to describe limestones composed of broken-up shelly debris.
Fine grained limestones are often called 'micrites'.
Wulfenite, don't know. You didn't mean wolframite which occurs in a type of granite?
😉
The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.

Hopefully someone will tell me this is incorrect!
