I'm considering a reprint of the book by Lewis and Denton, copies seem to go very quickly when I find them is there any interest ? Cost will be in the region of £16.00 depends how many printed etc]

Please let me know if you are interested

Yes please. One question, I assume it would be a reprint of the second edition?

It would be a reprint of the second edition yes.

I have permission/ agreement from the surviving author and will look to pay him a commission

I've got a copy of the first edition (dated 1974). How different is the second edition?

Answer is I don't know as I haven't got a first edition to check however it is on a better quality publication glossy paper etc my suspicion is not a lot.

Maybe some one can tell us

I don't have a first edition but I did borrow one many years ago, and I do recall some good quality plans, with parts of the plans coloured, if only passage outlines?

Other than that, I can't really help.

I have a first edition. I have never seen a second edition. The adits (and a few other details - I don't have the book to hand) are shown in red in the first edition, I do understand however that in the second edition they are all in black.

I'm assuming that the first edition was the one published in 1974 by The Cottage Press, Shrewsbury ? I bought mine in Aug.'75. As John says, the plans of workings and sections are in black and red. Outer cover is a greeny/blue colour ? I would think a reprint would have no shortage of takers !

I am currently exploring the possibilities I need to print 100 to make it viable so far only interest from 10 people.
